Looking east from FM 1947 at Hwy 22. Pioneer drills the westernmost Duke unit. Continue to pray for rain. A third pad site awaits a rig. There will be at least 10 horizontals in the Duke lease. Hill county's largest so far.
Patterson UTI continues it's drill of the first Duke well. Should be nearing completion.
Cattle graze the recently completed pipeline right-of-way on HCR 2127. One of numerous properties for sale across Hill county. This sign was located on HCR 2127 across from the old 'Culp' home.
2-H well identifier. Extra flowmeter installed at both the 1H and 2H units shows 'GL' readings. Main production nears 100 Million cubic feet at the 2H unit.
An additional flowmeter has been added to Forest Oil's Cornerstone 1H and 2H units south of Whitney. A smaller takeaway line has also been added at the 1H unit.
Meter readings at the 1H unit. There are now 2 meters at this unit. One measures total production/flow, the other has a 'GL' identifier. This term is new to me, and I hope to have an explanation soon for this reading.
Currently this is Hill county's southernmost producing Barnett well. The flowmeter for this unit is not on the lease site. It's located about a quarter of a mile away, next to Aquilla Station.
