Production numbers remain good at Forest Oil's Duke units between Peoria and Hillsboro.

Lake Aquilla

Not as bad as the drought of 2006, but rain would be welcomed as lake levels continue to fall.
After the "drought" in '06 it rained for almost 6 months straight filling every lake in North Texas past flood stages.

Cornerstone 2H Production 1/9/09

Production at Forest Oil's Cornerstone 3H unit has been consistant since initial production began in the spring of 2008. The well is located 5 miles south of Whitney on HCR 2122W, just off FM 933.

Cutting a Road to XTO's Watson Unit

Progress is slow but steady as a vacant dozer hauler sits in a clearing of cedar trees just north of HCR 1221. According to the TX/RRC this should be the entrance to what will be XTO Energy's Watson A 1-H unit in Hill county.
