Cornerstone 1H Site
The gates are closed and the chain is padlocked at the 1H site.
No access to this site.
XTO to Begin Drilling Near Here
Lease on HCR 1221 will soon be home to XTO Energy's first Hill county drill. A permit for the Watson #A 1H Unit was filed this week.
The pad site will be located in this thick stand of cedar trees just 4.7 miles northwest of Whitney.
A county gravel hauler truck works this precinct road in preparation for the upcoming flurry of heavy equipment that accompanies a gas drill.

The frac'd Barnett Shale releases gas some 11,500 feet down and away from the 3H wellhead.
A pressure meter sits on top of the well head.
Forest maintains a well kept pad site. Safety is key.

Frac Tank Cleared and Fenced
Dozers have been busy clearing the area around a large frac tank on HCR 2126 at FM 933. I have been told that Horizon Vacuum Services are planning to build a facility on this site.
The cleared perimeter is now fenced.

Aquilla Lake is leased to Forest Oil. Looking forward to seeing what production numbers are found beneath the waves.
A million sparkles glisten across the water in the midday sunshine
.Lake levels have dropped considerably. Maybe a good old fashioned rain dance is in order.

Flaring Lights Up the Night
A well was being flared just south of Cleburne tonight. Flame was at least 15 feet high.
